High-Throughput Detection of 45 Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances in Foods for Special Medical Purposes

Abstract: This study aims to establish a rapid and quantitative method for the detection of 45 per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in foods for special medical purposes using ultra-performance liquid chromatography-quadrupole-time of flight-tandem mass spectrometry. Samples were extracted with acetonitrile. Chromatographic separation was performed on a ZORBAX RRHD Eclipse Plus C18 column (2.1 mm × 100 mm, 1.8 μm) using gradient elution a mobile phase composed of a 50% acetonitrile in methanol and 20 mmol/L ammonium acetate aqueous solution containing 0.1% formic acid. Detection was carried out in high-resolution multiple reaction monitoring mode. The results showed that calibration curves for all analytes exhibited good linearity over the concentration range of 1?500 ng/mL. All 45 PFAS compounds showed precise mass relative errors within 5.0 × 10?6. The method’s limit of detection (LOD) ranged from 2.5 to 125 ng/g, and its limit of quantitation (LOQ) was 5?250 ng/g. At spiked levels of 5?2 500 ng/g, recoveries ranged from 70.58% to 116.67%, with relative standard deviations (RSDs) below 15%. All experimental results met the requirements for the quantitative analysis of trace contaminants in food matrices.

摘要: 旨在建立一种适用于特殊医学用途配方食品中45 种全氟化合物(per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances,PFAS)的快速检测与定量分析方法。该方法采用超高效液相色谱-四极杆-飞行时间-串联质谱技术,以乙腈对样品进行提取后,通过ZORBAX?RRHD?Eclipse?Plus?C18色谱柱(2.1?mm×100?mm,1.8?μm)进行梯度洗脱,流动相为50%甲醇乙腈溶液与含0.1%甲酸的20?mmol/L乙酸铵溶液,并在高分辨多反应监测模式下完成检测。结果表明,在1~500?ng/mL质量浓度范围内,各目标物均呈现良好线性关系。45?种PFAS的精确相对质量偏差均控制在5.0×10-6以内。方法的检出限为2.5~125?ng/g,定量限为5~250?ng/g。在5~2?500?ng/g的加标水平下,加标回收率达70.58%~116.67%,同时相对标准偏差小于15%。所有实验结果均符合食品基质中痕量污染物定量分析的要求。
